Halawa Tahini Cupcakes

  • Ingredients

    Cupcakes:

    • 4 tbsp Aseel ghee
    • 1⁄4cup vegetable oil
    • 1⁄2 cup water
    • 1 1⁄4 cup all-purpose flour
    • 1 cup granulated sugar
    • 1⁄4 cup Al Yaman Tahini
    • 2 tbsp cacao powder
    • 3⁄4 tsp baking soda
    • 1/8 tsp kosher salt
    • 1 large egg
    • 1⁄4 cup buttermilk
    • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract

    Halawa Whipped cream: 

    •  1 ½ cup of whipping cream 
    • 3 tbsp of Al Yaman Halawa 
    • 1 tbsp Al Yaman tahini 
    • 2 tbsp sugar 
  • Preparation

    1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
    2. Prepare a 12-cup muffin tin by lining it with paper liners.
    3. Melt your Aseel ghee with the water and oil.
    4. Sift your dry ingredients in a bowl.
    5. Add your melted ghee mixture, mix well.
    6. Beat your eggs.
    7. Add the buttermilk and vanilla.
    8. Pour your batter and bake for 25 minutes.
