HOW TO USE

To prepare this authentic Turkish coffee, follow these steps:

Ingredients and Equipment:

  • Najjar Selection with Cardamom Coffee
  • Cold water- Sugar (optional)
  • A cezve (Turkish coffee pot), a small saucepan on the stovetop works too!
  • Small coffee cups

Measure the Coffee and Water:

  • For each cup of coffee, use one heaping teaspoon of Najjar Plain Turkish Coffee.
  • Measure one cup of cold water per serving and pour it into the pot or saucepan.
  • Add Sugar (Optional)

Stir the coffee and water mixture well to combine. If adding sugar, ensure it dissolves completely.

Place the pot on medium heat and stir occasionally until the coffee starts to froth. Do not let it boil.

Create the Foam:

As the coffee heats, a foam will form on the surface. Before the coffee boils, remove the pot from the heat and spoon some of the foam into each cup.

Return the pot to the heat and allow the coffee to froth again, then pour it gently into the cups.

Serve and Enjoy: Serve the Turkish coffee immediately. Allow the grounds to settle at the bottom of the cup before sipping.
